Pork Dry Fry – Assam Assamese Style

Pork Dry Fry

Ingredients:

  1. 500 grams boil pork meat
  2. Chopped onions – 2 Big
  3. Potato – 1 No (optional)
  4. Tomato – 1 No ( Cut into medium pieces)
  5. 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  6. 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  7. Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
  8. Black pepper powder : 1 tsp
  9. Salt ( according to taste)
  10. Green chili (as per taste)
  11. Mustard oil  : very less ( don’t use too much oil as pork fat itself release natural oil)
  12. Coriander leaves for garnishing/topping.

Method:

  1. Pour the oil in a pan and let it heat.
  2. Add the onions in the pan and stir till golden brown.
  3. Then add ginger-garlic paste, chillies and mix them for a minute.
  4. Then add black pepper powder, turmeric powder and fry.
  5. Now add the pork and fry for a minute then add the potato pieces and the tomato pieces. Then add salt as per taste.
  6. Mix gently and fry them for 15 minutes.
  7. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
