HOPE- A POEM

The strongest and the purest feeling, 

Despair and anguish within us, helps in concealing. 

Every mortal, whether weak or strong, 

Has felt it in their hearts like a song. 

Like a faint melody, like a tiny spark, 

Which forms a magical tune like a lark. 

It is the thread that binds us to our dreams, 

When it’s lost and in the far it gleams. 

It is that ray of light which keeps us alive, 

During the darkest days of our lives. 

For that sparkling little ounce of warmth, 

Which is hidden deep inside your heart. 

Is all that you need in this infinite universe, 

HOPE, to live and love, one and all.
