Qualities to Become a Great Cyclist

How to become a better, fitter, faster cyclist and plan your riding per your requirement and necessity.

  1. Invest time.
  2. Have clear goals.
  3. Have a good self discipline and leads a sporting lifestyle.
  4. Start slow.
  5. Join a cycling group.
  6. Always ride in total comfort and as per energy level.
  7. Love as a sport.
  8. Wanting to be a great cyclist.
  9. Take the responsibilities.
  10. More confident.
  11. Ride with your mates.
  12. Cycle everyday for a professional cyclist. 
  13. Build your strength i.e do a 60 minutes strength stretching of your muscles, specially you leg and core muscles. I personally suggest for a yoga practices but you can go any body movement exercises you like.
  14. Diet control or eat all of the nutrients your body needs which helps your body keep up. All diet should be rich in fruits and vegetables as well as have carbs and protein.
  15. Trained yourself through different environment like riding up a hill, riding into the wind, changing different gear in different conditions.
  16. Cycle with others and with young cyclist. It will helps you to develop the skills and strength that you need to succeed. Also join a local cycling community or groups and participate in weekly trainings and cycling event in regular basis.
  17. Ride with cyclist who are better than you and suggest you for the development.
  18. Find a mentor or gurus to help you improve your performance.
