Bhindi Gosht – With Chicken
Bhindi Gosht
INGREDIENTS
- Bhindi / Lady Finger -750 grams
- Chicken- 500 grams
- Tomatoes- 2 Big Sized
- Onions- 2 Big Sized
- Green Chili & Coriander Leaves 8 to 9 Chilies
- Salt as per taste
- Red Chili Powder – 2 Tea Spoon
- Coriander Powder – 1 Tea Spoon
- Turmeric Powder -1 Tea Spoon
- Garam Masala Powder -1 Tea Spoon
- Oil 1 Cup
PROCEDURE
- Wash the Lady Finger and let it dry in the sunlight. Once dry chop it into fine little pieces.Now take the Chopped Lady Finger and fry it lightly in a pan on a medium heat stove.
- Then cut the green chillies and add them in the pan. After it becomes golden brown put it into a bowl. Now in the leftover oil add fine chopped onions and Green Chillies and sauté them until the color changes to pink.
- Now add chicken and mix both onions and chicken well, fry until the color of chicken changes, add chopped tomatoes. Now add Salt (1 tea spoon / as per taste), Red Chili Powder (2 tea spoon), Turmeric Powder (1 tea spoon), Coriander Powder (1 tea spoon) and mix well. Cook the chicken for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Now add the fried Lady Finger with chicken and mix well.Leave it on the stove for 4 to 5 minutes covered with the lid. Finally Bhindi Gosht is ready to serve.
